Big Week: Boot Camp Prep and Two Speaking Engagements

Well, it’s time! The Reel Campaigns 4 A Change Boot Camp starts next Monday and I’ve got my nose to the grindstone working out last minute details. It should be quite an experience and I’m looking forward to working with a new class of protege candidates along with their returning protege mentors. Over the course of 4 weeks, students will research, plan and execute a media campaign as they work and interact with a series of award winning professionals from advertising and production houses around the city. 

This Friday June 4th, I’ll also speaking at a couple of youth oriented events – an Open Meeting for the Digital Media Council at Skillpoint Alliance 7:30 – 10am at AMD and then that evening at The Kids Are Allright Festival 6:45pm at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. In both instances I’ll be discussing the Media Communications Council’s youth outreach program Media Xperiments. Both talks are free! So, I hope to see you out. Make sure to say “Hello”.
